DCEM-2000 - Double Concentric Exotic Mixers with Heavy Duty Bearing & Taper Ring Drive
The DCEM-2000 is a Double Concentric Exotic Alloy Mechanical Seal designed specifically for mixers, agitators, and reactors operating in critical process environments.
Engineered for reliability and efficiency, this innovative stationary seal features monolithic and hydraulically balanced seal faces, ensuring superior performance under varying pressures and speeds.
Designed for API Plan 52, 53 and 54 systems, the DCCM-2000 delivers enhanced safety, extended seal life, and reliable performance for use in highly corrosive mixing and reaction equipment.
Key Features:
- Double Concentric Design – Provides optimal sealing for high-pressure applications and demanding process conditions.
- Integral Heavy Duty Bearing - Supplied with double spherical roller bearing ideal for high shaft load support. Can be supplied without bearing (see DCCM-1000) or with low/medium shaft load carrying bearing (see DCCM-1500)
- Hydraulically Balanced Seal Faces – Minimizes wear and enhances seal longevity, reducing maintenance and downtime.
- API Plan 53/54 Compatibility – Ideal for pressurized barrier fluid systems, ensuring zero process leakage and enhanced safety. Can also be employed in unpressurised Plan 52 barrier systems
- Exotic Alloy Wetted Parts – High Corrosion resistant components for long-lasting durability in aggressive chemical and industrial applications. Can also be supplied with Stainless Steel Wetted parts (See DCCM-2000)
- Compact Cartridge Construction – The concentric mounted seal faces creates a compact double seal for equipment with limited physical space. The cartridge design provides easy installation and replacement, reducing assembly time and maintenance complexity.
- Stationary Design – Self-aligning stationary seal faces, ideal for mixing equipment where the physical size of the equipment may create alignment issues
- Integral Double Lip Seal - Prevents dust and debris collecting around outboard seal faces in top entry applications. Supplied with Drain connection orifice for leak face leakage detection.
- Heavy Duty Seal to Shaft Drive - Supplied with a taper ring drive and collet sleeve, to eliminate shaft damage from setscrews.
- Monolithic Seal Faces - Monolithic (one piece) seal faces are the face of choice for high temperature applications over shrink fitted seal faces with differential thermal expansions of the bi-materials.
