Advanced Design & Engineering Capabilities - CAD and CAM

Using state-of-the-art 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) modeling software, our designers develop precise and optimized component geometries for superior performance and manufacturability. This allows us to:- Have clear visualisation and refinement of designs before 'metal is cut', creating a right-first-time approach.- Create rapid prototyping, accelerated casting development and 'enhanced design for manufacturing and assembly' - seamless integration throughout the business.- Minimize material waste and machining time.

The 3D mechanical seal component models are then processed through Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software, to create machine tool programs to optimise the machining cycles and ultimately reduce component cost and further material/time waste.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Through advanced CFD simulations, we analyze fluid flow, pressure distribution, and thermal effects within our mechanical seals. This technology enables us to:- Optimise seal designs for enhanced performance and efficiency- Predict leakage rates, heat generation, and turbulence- Improve cooling, lubrication, and wear resistance

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Our FEA software allows us to simulate real-world stresses and operating conditions, ensuring every component is engineered for durability and reliability. We use FEA to:- Evaluate mechanical stress, strain, and deformation- Identify potential failure points and optimize material selection- Enhance seal longevity and performance in extreme environments
