LBBS-1050 - Labyrinth Seal Bearing Protector with Axial Movement Stainless-Phos.Bronze

The LBBS-1050 is a high performance Labyrinth Seal certified to IP65 and IP66; the standard for the protection of rotating equipment bearing chambers.

This bearing seal is specifically designed to accommodation axial movement between the equipment housing and shaft (+/-2.5mm). Further it will fit small x-sectional spaces, typically where lip seals or oil seals have previously been employed.

Our LBBS-1050 labyrinth seal design is offered as a complete cartridge solution that installed into the rotating equipment in a similar way to a lip or oil seal.

Design Features include;

• IP66 certified - provides protection against ingress of dust and high temperature, high pressure water – making the product ideal for use in conditions where equipment must be carefully sanitized
• Axial Movement Capability - Designed to accommodate +/-2.5mm (+/-0.100") shaft movement. Operators can see the integral movement indicator to monitor movement. Contact Stanseals for additional movement capabilities if required.
• Cartridge, one piece solution for ease of installation
• Non-contacting design - No shaft wear and high shaft maintenance expense. Maintenance free construction.
• Bi-metallic material construction for optimum operational performance

• Twin rotor o-ring drive which stablizes the rotor in operation. This permits 'value-adding' close radial clearance construction between rotor and stator, which improves sealing performance.
