RCVD-1000 - Cartridge Dry Running Hybrid seal for use on Rotary Cone Vacuum Dryers

The RCVD-1000 is a dry running hybrid cartridge seal, designed for use in Rotary Cone Vacuum Dryers.

This hybrid cartridge seal will fit small x-sectional spaces, typically which was previously packed with gland packing.

Our RCVD-1000 hybrid seal design is offered as a complete cartridge solution that installed into the rotating equipment. In RCVD equipment, the shaft is stationary and the housing rotates.

Design Features include;

  • 1/8" NPT orifice for Nitrogen purge (between batches), typically in a API Plan 74 arrangement.
  • Cartridge, one piece solution for ease of installation
  • Hybrid lip-seal technology - durable for optimum operational performance
  • Twin shaft o-ring drive which stablizes the rotor sleeve in operation. This permits 'value-adding' close radial clearance construction between rotor and stator, which improves sealing performance.
  • Compact design - will fit in practically all rotating equipment RVCD openings

See the Stanseals RCVD-2000 if nitrogen purge is not required.

Safe Operating Limits:

This seal incorporates best practice features and innovation as detailed in our technical blogs and white papers.

** Apply "industry standard" Pressure, Speed and Temperature de-rating factors, by shaft size and application. The safe seal performance characteristics are typical characteristics for each variable in isolation. The individual upper limit values of each variable should NOT be used in multiple combinations of Speed, Pressure and Temperature. Contact our Technical Sales Department for further details.
