RCVD-2000 - Hybrid Cartridge Lipseal with integral Labyrinth seal for RCVDs

The RVCD-2000 is a hybrid cartridge lipseal design with integral labyrinth seal technology, for sealing of Rotary Cone Vacuum Dryers (RVCD's).

This innovative cartridge seal operates with the shaft stationary and the housing rotating.

Our RVCD-2000 hybrid dry running seal design is offered as a complete cartridge solution with the special lipseals running on a hardened sleeve to maximise seal longevity.

The Stanseals parallel outside diameter non-contacting labyrinth seal is IP65 and IP65 rated for equipment wash-down and cleaning.

Design Features include;

  • Dry Running - No possibility of liquid contamination from the seal into the RVCD drying operation.
  • Cartridge, one piece solution for ease of installation
  • Hardened Cartridge Sleeve - No shaft wear or high shaft maintenance expense. The hybrid lipseals run on a harden cartridge sleeve surface to maximise seal life.
  • Stainless steel wetted material construction for optimum chemical resistance performance. Alternative wetted materials can be supplied on request.
  • Integral Labyrinth technology - latest non-contacting IP66 labyrinth seal for ultimate water/clean down protection
  • Compact design - will fit in practically all RVCD rotating equipment rotor/stator openings
