SCCM-2000 - Single Concentric Cartridge Mixers with Heavy Duty Bearing & Taper Ring Drive
The SCCM-2000 is a Single Concentric Cartridge Mechanical Seal with integral double spherical roller bearing, designed specifically for mixers, agitators, and reactors operating in critical process environments.
Engineered for reliability and efficiency, this compact seal features monolithic, hydraulically balanced seal faces, ensuring superior performance under varying pressures and speeds.
Designed for API Plan 52, 62, 65A, 65B and 66 systems, the SCCM-2000 delivers enhanced safety, extended seal life, and reliable performance, making it the ideal choice for high-performance mixing and reaction equipment.
Key Features:
- Single Concentric Design – Provides a clean, non-bug trap inboard seal profile with springs out of the product media.
- Integral Heavy Duty Bearing - Supplied with double spherical roller bearing ideal for high shaft load support. Can be supplied without bearing (see SCCM-1000) or with ball bearing (see SCCM-1500)
- Hydraulically Balanced Seal Faces – Minimizes wear and enhances seal longevity, reducing maintenance and downtime.
- API Plan 52/62/65/66 Compatibility – Ideal for un-pressurized buffer fluid systems, helping to reduce process leakage with enhanced safety.
- Stainless Steel Wetted Parts – Corrosion-resistant components for long-lasting durability in aggressive chemical and industrial applications. Can be supplied with Exotic Alloy Wetted parts (See SCEM-1000)
- Compact Cartridge Construction – The compact single seal is ideal for equipment with limited physical space. The cartridge design provides easy installation and replacement, reducing assembly time and maintenance complexity.
- Stationary Design – Self-aligning stationary seal faces, ideal for mixing equipment where the physical size of the equipment may create alignment issues
- Integral Double Lip Seal - Prevents dust and debris collecting around outboard seal faces in top entry applications. Supplied with Drain connection orifice for leak face leakage detection.
- Flush/Vent connection - Design for venting top entry applications, or steam/fluid flush for cleaning equipment (CIP)
- Monolithic Seal Faces - Monolithic (one piece) seal faces are the face of choice for high temperature applications over shrink fitted seal faces with differential thermal expansions of the bi-materials.
- Heavy Duty Seal to Shaft Drive - Supplied with a taper ring drive and collet sleeve, to eliminate shaft damage from setscrews.
