STAN20-2000 - 20L Water/Oil Seal Support System with Cooling Coil and Sight Glass. Factory tested
The STAN20-2000 is a 20 Litre (5.28 US Gals) Thermosyphon Water/Oil Management System for use with Double Mechanical Seals. The system supplies clean, cool fluid to the mechanical seal to improve seal face conditions and extend seal life.
Our STAN20-2000 tank is designed to hold 20 Litres (5.28 US Gals) of fluid plus several litres of air to allow for thermal expansion of the fluid. It comes as a pre-assembled and factory tested system complete with Pressure Gauge and Hose Kit. The seal support system also comes complete with a mounting bracket which can be wall or stand mounted. Telescopic, floor mounted seal support system stands are available on request.
The STAN20-2000 thermal management system has a number of design features including an internal Cooling Coil and Weld Pad Sight Glass. It also includes a Pressure Relieve Valve (PRV) which is safety feature to prevent over pressurisation of the vessel. The standard system is available with a wide range of optional extras (see image) including Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) certification for the European market.

INSTALLATION TIPS: The seal support system will circulate barrier fluid to and from the mechanical seal in a thermosyphon (convection) manner. It is therefore important that the pipework to and from the seal has no sags or kinks. Contact our Technical Sales Department for further details.
